Time: 9am-1pm
What: Crafting Your Brains Out
Food: We'll be having potluck soup lunch (so if you don't want to craft your brains out, you can come have a bowl of soup and some girl talk... starting at about noon).
Children's Class: Of course!
Free: There will be one free craft-earrings!
Money: The money for all of your crafts must be turned in by Sunday, November 2nd! You snooze, you lose! Make checks payable to either Bethany Weed or Lisa Schaack.

P.S.-These pictures aren't super high quality photography. They're just meant to remind you of what you saw at church. The real thing is much cuter! :)

P.P.S- We've estimated the time it takes to complete each of these projects so that you can plan wisely and not take on more than you can complete in 4 hours. But the time doesn't include all your chit chat so plan for that also! :)

Thanks! Now peruse below to see what you might want to craft!

Earrings

Let's start with the free craft, shall we? If you show up at Super Saturday, you can make one pair of free earrings. What? You are so delighted by these earrings that you want to make a pair for your mom, one for your auntie and one for your best friend's sister? Well that's fine, if you'd like more than one pair, just pay $1/pair and you're free to make as many as you'd like.

Black Magic
A round ball of onyx sandwiched between swirly bead caps. 15 minutes to complete.

The Natural
A mother of pearl disc complemented by two tan Unachite stones. 15 minutes to complete.

Pink Lady
Three cubes of rose quartz dangle from these feminine little earrings. 25 minutes to complete.

Winter Ice
Icy blue faceted rectangles dangle simply from the wires. 10 minutes to complete.

Turquoise Sunrise
Turquoise magnesite, cozied up to silver heishi beads and tan Unachite stones. 15 minutes to complete.

Hair Bows

Hairbows for little girls are so spendy! (Or so I've heard...) And you can never have enough (again, or so I've heard...) So for all mothers of girls, or people who'd like to give a gift to a friend with a female child, we (and by we, I do mean Marcie Stevens) will teach you to make your own hairbows.

Below is the Large Bow model, where you can order the pink, the white or the blue polka dots. However, the dark blue with green in the back is just there to show you what you could do if you so choose. Let's call it a "stacked" bow, shall we? You can make stacked bows out of any of these. (Marcie chose these navy and green colors because they're her daughter's school colors-just an idea.) However, how could we know how you might like to personalize your bows? If you'd like to turn any of the bows that you see below into stacked bows, you need to bring 18'' of the 3/8'' ribbon of your choice. Does that make sense? Well... if not, call Marcie. :)

$1/per bow, 15 minutes to complete.

Small Bows
Turquoise, pink, lavender, white or red. These are the perfect size for those cute little piggy tails! Don't forget, you can personalize these with 18'' of any 3/4 size ribbon.

$.50/bow, 15 minutes to complete.

Daisy Clips

They're cute. Do they need further explanation?

$1/per clip, 15 minutes to complete.

Ribbon Scrunchies

The chic pink and brown, or the girly classic of pink, purple and rainbows.

Just in case you have a difficult time envisioning what these darling little things would look like in your girl's hair, we've included a picture of this scrunchie in action. (Marcie chose to do the one below in Jossi's soccer colors-more ideas for you, if you want!) If you did want to bring your own ribbon, you need to bring a total of about 18 pieces of ribbon, at 10'' long each. Nothing bigger than 7/8'' ribbon, if you are going to bring your own.

$3/per scrunchie, 15 minutes to complete.

Whewf! She is fierce!

Homemade Christmas Cards

What's more delightful than receiving a homemade Christmas card during the holidays? Designed by the ever crafty Monica Cole, here's a set of 5 Christmas cards for $6. Sample pictures coming soon!

Christmas Stars

Set of three tin stars, covered in Christmas scrapbooking paper. The example below isn't the Christmassy paper, but you get the general idea, right?

Here's a picture of the three stars grouped together, the two small ones are covered in the Christmas paper, the larger one obviously not. :) The large star is approximately 11.5'', the medium star is about 6.5'' and the small one is about 5''.

You'll notice that the small one has some sanding details on the edges, and the medium one doesn't. Options. That's what we're here to do, offer you options.

$10/set of three stars, small, medium, and large-1 hour to complete.

More questions? Talk to our fabulous teacher, Sandra Shaffer.

P.S.-As with everything that involves scrapbooking paper, you can bring your own and make this project whatever your heart desires! If you do bring your own, you'll need about 6 pieces of paper.

Home Frame

The ever popular vinyl lettering is back! This sweet sign reads "Home is where our story begins." Top it off with a cream ribbon and it's ready for your wall. 14.5'' by 7.5''.

$7/per sign, 45 minutes to complete.

Questions? Comments about how fab it is? Talk to Kim Laga.

Rustic Wooden Nativity

At last! A nativity that your kids and grandkids can play with to their hearts' content and it won't break! Larger figures are approximately 5'' (just to give you the scale of this thing.) It comes with the Three Wisemen, a camel, Mary, Joseph and Baby Jesus, a donkey, a sheep and a shepherd.

You can customize this set with black, brown or white paint, which will all be available-but if you'd like something different, you're more than welcome to bring it!

$10.50 for the set, 1.5 hours to complete.

Metal Magnet Sign

Brag about your family tastefully with this metal magnet sign. 11'' tall, 32'' long. Black paint and black vinyl lettering-if you'd like another color of background paint, feel free to bring it!

You have two options of what you want this sign to say, either "Family" as displayed below, or "Notes," also displayed below.

$12/per sign, 1 hour to complete.

P.S.-I know what you're thinking. You're thinking, how can this be? I've seen signs like this sold at other Super Saturdays for something around 27 dollars... this cannot be real. It is real, my friends, and that's what happens when you've got a domestic diva like Nicki Shores on your team.

As with all of the projects that involve scrapbooking paper, if you want a specific color to match your house or whatever, then feel free to bring it!
